I love New York City! It is one of my all time favorite cities in the whole world, however, home values differ drastically from city living to living in the suburbs, more specifically, Monmouth County.
I wonder, with such a close proximity to the Big Apple (about 1 hour away) why more Manhattanites do not transition and move to New Jersey, where their money will more than likely get them a much bigger home than it would in New York City…. Why?
For example: The team and I just listed 20 Love Lane, a 10 acre estate in Freehold, NJ. Please tell me where in New York City could you purchase a 4/5 bedroom newer home sitting on large parcel of land, with close proximity to the tri-state area, all for under $850,000 dollars……Where?
